Top Dressing

A great way to improve the condition of the soil beneath your lawn is to apply a top dressing - our dressing of choice being an organic fine-grade compost.

Spreading a thin layer of top dressing over the lawn surface, using a lawn lute or rake, is of particular benefit during lawn renovations to assist seed germination and repair minor surface imperfections.

Top dressing is also a highly effective treatment for repairing worn & patchy areas, improving drainage, minimising thatch and promoting grass growth.
